SILVER Fraction- unpunched Siglos!!!!

Hello to all, i have this silver fraction, that can be almost anything, unshaped flan, unpunched siglos, Edomite dome, it is from silver 15x10mm and the weight is 3.90 grams.

It just looks like a blob of metal.  IS there a greenish patina on some of it?  If so, I would doubt it is high-grade silver.

Nothing green it had typical black silver patina and dirt i clened it a little bit.

Hi,

I have similar one of same shape and close weight. It was definitely used as drachm equivalent, but I have no idea why it doesn't carry any markings.

Perhaps a pre-coin?  It reminds me of the gold "buttons" the '49s of the California gold rush used to make.  They would take their gold dust and melt it into a blob--the dust did not get lost that way and the blob could be used as a pseudo-currency.
