Pompeii exhibit
« on: May 22, 2017, 07:07:32 am »
Thought I'd share a few pics of the Pompeii exhibit in Kansas City.  These artifacts seldom leave Italy so it was a treat to see them.  A lot of coins have been found at Pompeii.  The exhibit just had a small hoard of denarii, mostly of Vespasian.  I took about ten pics of the coins but none turned out well due to the distance and lighting.  I think this exhibit is going to Phoenix and Tampa, maybe other cities so if it is in your area it is well worth seeing.  Mark

Thanks for sharing Mark.  Looks like a great exhibit.  I might have to wait to see it in Tampa next year when visiting my son.
