Greek AE15 Needs some help.
« on: April 23, 2017, 08:31:13 pm »
Hello coin friends well i just returned from a true tour de coin in Vienna, it was allmost 20 years since i was there last. Well after doing all the sites with the better half, The Zoo (Pandas ofc), Schönbrunn Palace ect. i parked her and went to the this place.  ;D Here is a link https://www.khm.at/en/visit/collections/coin-collection/

Well back home again i was looking through my Greek bronze coin bag and there are 3 coins that caught my attention, first is this little fat gem.

Coin info:

Greek: AE15 (3mm fat, a real whopper.)

Weight:6.65 gram
Adverse: The head reminds of some coins from Syracuse Sicily?

Reverse: Man standing, looking left. I cant recognize the letter/symbol to the left?

Well i hope someone can help.

Thank you and Servus!  +++ Kim

PS. Last picture is how i felt after looking at all the beautiful coins. haha
