Hi,

Is there roman coins with Seneca face? I know he wasn't an emperor, but, as Nerone preceptor, he was a very powerful man in Rome.

A life-portrait on a Roman imperial coin, or even on a provincial issue, typically portrays only an emperor or caesar or his chosen family; a figure like Augustus' appalling friend Vedius Pollio * is one rare, egregious exception. Although Seneca did finally fall victim to Nero, it was not for the sort of outlandish bad judgment it would take to show up as a coin-subject.
