Identification Help Alexander Drachm
« on: April 12, 2017, 09:49:19 am »
I was given this coin years ago by my parents and wrote on the box what it is. Now the ink has faded so I am at square one. The coin is 16mm and 4g. I have tried to identify the mint from the symbol under the bird and one ebay listing attributed this symbol which looks like an asterisk to the Kolophon mint. Other features that should help ID: legs of Zeus uncrossed, 'Basileos' is not present. Input is appreciated.
