Sometimes coins were made into weights and were marked in similar ways.  You're not likely to get any additional ID for it.

Right after you replied you posted a weight that had the same. Mark on one side  thank you for help also thank you for the tool kit I have I'd over 300 coins most are common 2-3 got a few rare 1 I have a3/4 full mason jar I still need to clean my coins came from my father he got them back in the early 1950s from Italy and turkey he was a embassy guard I'm having fun now researching coins because of your tool kit also having trouble with wish list trying to post coins with animals and fish interested in.  Thank you again. I recall reading in some book (not sure which) that many specimens previously identified as gaming pieces are more likely weights.

That would be interesting.  It might be the case with metal but I think the bone items are more likely gaming pieces.  This one, though metal, simply reminded me a bit of the bone ones.  But maybe that is a false comparison.
