Congratulations Eric, you have scored a couple of unusually nice examples.

These Alexandrian coins must have come from a very successful issue because they are frequently found heavily worn, indicating a long period in circulation or a high frequency of exchange. The Alexandrian style has always appealed to me, I know some consider it a little crude compared to other mints, but I think these critics miss the point. Alexandrian coin design typically has great clarity and bold simplicity, both of which are beautifully shown on your coins.

Just curious.  We know how most of the Roman and Greek figures were identified.  Legends help identify certain figures, then other figures with the same attributes can reasonably be identified as the same figure, etc.  But I am really curious about how one pharaoh head was identified.
