Bronze handle

Please can you you help me with Identification this bronze handle.
Material: Bronze
Weight: 404 gram
Height: 15 cm
Photos: cleaned - preserved
Origin: Region Cologne - Bonn, Germany
Finding year: 1930

It is Celtic period (approx 1. century AD)  or Roman period (approx 10-13. Century AD.) ? Hanging tab , at the top of the head (hole) is iron.
In my opinion is it Celtic period - typical celtic head.....
Provide more information.

I have never seen anything like it.

You are right that style is late-Celtic or Roman provincial.

I think you are also right that it is some sort of handle or fixture for the side of a vessel - maybe a large wine bowl??
