Very nice indeed. I love the style of Antioch and they produced some lovely coins.

I have acquired a few now. These two are from the same workshop as yours....

Reaching like yours

Obv:– D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, Pearl diademed, draped, cuirassed, bust right
Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Helmeted soldier to left, shield on left arm, spearing falling horseman; shield on ground at right. Horseman is bearded and falls forward reaching towards emperor
Minted in Antioch (Gamma _ //ANS). A.D. 350-355
Reference:- RIC VIII, Antioch 132

And clutching

Obv:– D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, Pearl diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right, A behind bust
Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Helmeted soldier to left, shield on left arm, spearing falling horseman; shield on ground at right. Horseman is bearded and falls forward clutching horse's neck
Minted in Antioch (G _ //ANS).
Reference:- RIC VIII Antioch 135

Regards,
Martin

Thanks, and those are great coins! I think Antioch has the best over all style than the other mints. I'd like to find a nice one as my "flag ship' coin for my collection.

Very fine; I have one of these also.  But note that mint mark is not ANS but AN "hex" (Greek numeral "six"), more apparent in Maridunum's examples.  This numeral, usually with a visible serif at the top, appears on Roman coins, as well.  Best regards, Jim, Perpetual Non-Poster
