Maximus Caesar Denarius

I haven't posted a COD for quite a while but I think this denarius is worthy, I just added it to my gallery.  Such a beautiful denarius, hard to believe it was such a miserable time for the Empire.

An excellent portrait of the ill-fated young Maximus. I must say, he does look a lot more agreeable than his violent father.

Thanks for the compliment peterpil19 but I have to admit that this coin would make anyone seem good at photography.  Certainly one of the easiest coins for me to image so far.
