Thessalonica depicting one of my favorite
Apollo themes. The
type commemorates the Pythian Games.

Apollo, nude, standing left; laurel branch in lowered right hand; left hand to
head;
arm resting on
lyre setting on column around which a
snake is wrapped; at feet to left a prize
urn and 4 apples (or medallions depending on reference being used.)
