Hello to all, I have started my gallery in FORVM for some time now but I wanted to share my new additions as I find them very beautiful and style that combine elements from different cultures.The first one:

Artuqids of Mardin. Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslan. 597-637/1200-1239. AE dirham

Nice coins,

Out of curiosity, do you intend to clean the darker spots on the second coin, or like me do you prefer to keep it the way it is.

Dated RY 17 (AD 30/1). TIBЄPIOY KAICAPOC around augur's wand (lituus)
 Rev. L IZ (date) within wreath.
 References: Hendin 1342. TJC 333. RPC 4968.
 Well centered and deeply struck,  Black patina with earthen fields. Very Fine.  16mm, 2.16grams.
