This coin is
part of the
scarce first phase of
Ticinum’s 6th emission (according to
Pink’s emission classification) with greek numerals of
officinae not accompanied by the
XXI monetary reform mark. In the much more common and abundant second phase of 6th emission the greek numerals were followed by the
XXI mark in the
exergue.
The only example of this
type known to me. Possibly an unicum!
