Of coins posted to this OTD section, this may be the least detailed ever but it is, at least, unusual. My
collection includes a number of barbarous imitations but very few are bronzes and none less likely to be mistaken for official
mint product. The longer I stare at the coin, the more letters become apparent. Those seeing the photos will not all recognize the same number of letters but I am confident in the reading. The seller listed it as
Commodus with a
reverse of
Marcus Aurelius. I agree with the last half of that ID.
