I Need Great help to Id huge Greek lead square weight[1 Libra] with greek legend:Pb 80mm x 64 mm x 9mm----w:286g
Greek legend on Obv& Rev & Borders as on photos.It's a little bit worn but still readable
On Rev:I can read:T   W    H
                             M  W    I

I can't help on this one but what a totally fascinating object!  Can't wait to hear what others have to say.

I am curious about the weight though.  286 g is quite low for a libra.  A Roman libra was somewhere in the 322-326 g range, with most modern scholars now supporting 324 g or 325 g.

lines 4 and 5 migth contain the name of an officer in genitive - can line 5 begin with NOY AN...

PS: the weight could not be a Libra?According to Bendall the weights of 1 pound had huge changes between 324g and 279.9g[p 7]
