Without doing any checking, it looks like pre-Islamic Arab.

I do not know anything about the type .

May this help.

The objects on your weight or so , look like the letter M in Arabic. ( IF it meant to be an M )

M   م   (Mim )   If you gentlemen think of Islamic origin.

It is not Phoenician neither Hebrew for sure.
@Sam: Could it be a form of Arabic letters, as Arabic letters before Islam were not dotted? could be M (MIM) as you said also.

Hello gentlemen,
The Mim has no dot ( before or after ).
The reason dots were applied firstly to the Qur’an during Umayad time was mostly political to prevent the other groups claiming the right to take power from the Umayyads from doing so or at least  they will have no religious basis to count on in their claiming , specially the revolts in Iraq.
As you may know the sentence with no dots in Arabic can take a complete different meaning with dots.
So they ( dots ) were not  invented (  they  just were not in writting form , never before Umayyads time ) , as example the letter D in Arabic Dall ,  with dot will be Thall ( like the English word “the”)
The  person who mentioned the idea of dotting was Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf ( Prince of Iraq )
who was the sword of Ab Dul Malik bin Marwan and his son Al walid after him.

Now we get back to your object ;
All what I am trying to say is ; if your object meant to be Islamic , this is an M. ( see the black line in your first photo , I attached )

You are welcome , also if you think this object means something , it looks like the number nine in Indian numbers which were used by Arabic
٩    Nine.
