There is some sort of "classical" article about these coins: Katerini Liampi. “Zur Chronologie der sogenannten 'anonymen' mekedonischen Münzen des späten 4. Jhs. v. Chr.” in JNG XXXVI (1986), which can be found here: http://www.bngev.de/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/1986-Band-XXXVI.pdf#page=43&zoom=110,-345,676
(but it is - as the title alrady indicates - in German  ;) ).
Liampi ascribes these coins (it is group 6 in her article) with gorgoneion to the mint of Miletos (but with a "?") and dates them "after 323 BC". So the gorgoneion type is posthumous and it seems to be not clear which ruler minted them.

Nice, clear Gorgon.  There are a lot of Greek vases that indicate this iconography was used on actual shields.

Yes Meepzorp, I can see you dated your to the Interregnum, I though mine belonged to that period too.
