Small Severan bronze with Temple
« on: October 20, 2016, 12:11:43 am »
Greetings:

I was wondering if anyone could help me id this small bronze provincial.  Secondly, I was wondering what people thought of the major flaw on the obverse.  If this were a modern coin, I would say that was a major strike-thru.  What do you think?

Thanks,
Nathan

That's it!   Thanks a bunch.   I was misreading the KA G as KAI and that is what threw me off.

Lastly, as I keep looking at it,  I am wondering if the flaw on the obverse is not a giant lamination error where a big piece came off?   Any ideas?
