For those interested in the finer points of early
electrum coinage the top coin below shows an example of the Phanes trite currently on offer.
The point is that the
reverse is described as
type D, but according to this reference:
[REMOVED BY ADMIN]
the bottom coin below shows a typical delta (= D presumably)
type reverse.
Given that the
obverse of the top coin is
Type A, I'm guessing the
reverse on this coin is actually
type B, although I don't have an example of this to show you.
