I see a fake reverse for the Alaisa Katane type listed here:

https://manfacedbulls.wordpress.com/alaisa-katane/

Thanks for posting these.  I've only seen one fake made with these dies and decided not to bid because there was an error in the obverse inscription.  I'm thankful I didn't bid because this confirms it was a fake, which we suggest in Potamikon.

Made pictures with other camera hope they are better now.

The Mamertini die was used to make many fakes some of them found their way to reputable auctions.
Style is wrong so they should not have fooled anyone but ...

At the end of the article he (Taras) shows 9 fakes made with these dies.

Thanks.  Taras is not the author of that site, however.

Found some Herbessos fakes made with one of my fake dies.
On the obverse it looks like if there would be traces visible of an overstruck coin but it is auctually in the dies.

Mamertini fakes, only 100 % reverse die matches, obverse die is totally different.
64.... and 92.... are the same coin on different sale.

I ordered them, with some luck I will have them at the end of next week.
Will post some pictues as sonn as I have them.
The artistic merit of some of these dies is really good, sometimes (very rarely) even better than on the authentic originals.
The style can not be that bad if you consider how many and often reputable auction houses were fooled by fakes made with these modern dies.

Have you tried striking with them? If I had them, I would certainly want to test one (maybe on a hammered modern coin as a flan).

Next one, only obverse die match, the die is damaged (several breaks) which were copied on the fake.

More pictures of the fake dies + picture of the only authentic example known

Edit, checked munzeo.com
one of these fakes was sold by nfs Atinacoins before it was sold by a German auction house, last picture is fake, too
