Har ett litet mynt som jag gärna vill ha referensnummer på om någon sitter med bra och rätt referensverk.

Verkar vara Phoenicia, Arados. Uncertain King AR 1/3 Stater – Tetrobol
2,7gr, 17-19mm

Betlyon nr?
BABELON nr?    B.814 pl. CXVI/10??
The Handbook of Greek Coinage Series, volume 10 - The Handbook of Coins of the Southern Levant nr?     HGCS. 10/37 (R1)??

Grattis Daniel, vilken fin och sällsynt mynt du har i din samling.  Wink

Jag skulle beskriva myntet enligt följande;


Obverse. Figure of marine deity right, holding dolphins or fish in each hand. (Marine deity - möjligtvis Ba´al Arwad)

Reverse. Galley right, eye in prow, all within incuse square.

Datumet mellan 410-400 B.C.


Alla mynt präglat före 410 B.C var utan Fenicien bokstäver.

Har det bra.

Tackar Arados.

Köpte en mindre samling med merparten romerska mynt, där detta mynt var med.
Detta mynt är nog troligtvis det bästa ur den samlingen, har inte gått igenom allt ännu.

Blir svårt ibland då man saknar en hel del referenslitteratur, blir nog en ny tråd framöver om tips på böcker.
