I don't like, I have many doubts about it for me it appears as Modern dies on ancient flan. The crack looks  typical.

I was thinking much the same kind of thing.
Not sure how one would consider/confirm an ancient flan,
but this obverse portrait certainly looks modern to my eye.
I wouldn't touch it if it were offered to me!

On the coin's surface are some deposits which aren't started in the last years.
I'm sure that is an ancient imitation.

Deposits on the surface are very easily faked. I have doubts about this coin too. Imitatives can be very difficult to authenticate or condemn with confidence.

I bought it from Dr. Busso Peus (https://www.peus-muenzen.de).
Here is the coin in my hand. I scanned it with strong magnifying glass.
I already see many modern fakes. By my opinion this is not.

Well, this coin seems to be listed in RIC as #254A (vol. IV, pt. 3, p. 100).  The reference is "Num. Chron., 1939, p. 25 (Dorchester)".

Many of the "hybrids" mentioned in RIC for this period (Gordian, Philip) seem to be just a bit off when it comes to the style. This coin is no exception: In addition to the comments posted above, the lettering appears to be rather large and uneven when compared to other coins of Philip II.  Also, the uniform of Philip on the reverse is not quite like that on a genuine PRINCIPI IVVENT reverse.  If it is an ancient coin, it is likely not an official one.

Interesting coin.

Right, not an official issue - style, epigraphy, and the number of flan splits make that certain.

The present antoninianus seems to present on obverse (portrait) and reverse (clothing -fold in V on the chest) some ressemblance in style with some of the provincial coinage of Viminacium, during year XI. It could be part of a serie of ‘strange’ antoniniani runing from about  248 AD (antoniniani of Philippus et sui) up to 253 AD (antoninianus of Aemilianus with PAXS). May be limited ‘emergency’ strikes of antoniniani at the provincial mint of Viminacium during this period should not be ruled out.

Regards.

Unfortunately not as the ‘strange’ antoniniani  (Philippus, Volusianus, Aemilianus) appear(ed) from time to time, here and there, in sales or at discussion boards. At least one is pictured in RIC (Aemilianus).

Of course there are pictures of Viminacium provincial coinage of year XI in F. Martin’s book and SNG (Hungary). The Internet (sales, galleries  and ‘fora’) provides pictures as well.

Regards.
