This is a coin from Spain. you will find it in
M. Crusafont i Sabater , El sistema monetario visigodo cobre y oro, Barce-lona 1994.

this coin is "Group C"

Sabatier supposed this coin wad struck in Merida - EMERITA -  during the Visigotic period

in fact many numismatist like Teresa Marot (and me too) are sure it is not visigotic.... but made in the South Spain (ex Betica) by indipendent cities like Siviglia, Cordoba etc between 550 and 600 .... look at the "bizantine Spain on wikipedia" to understand the complex period and place Smiley

this one is one of the 5 Crusafont Groups with the othe Toledo coin you posted
