Unknown Greek coin to identify!!!
« on: May 03, 2016, 01:49:21 pm »
Hello folks,
I've purchased this coin and I cant figure out what century or what city it's been struck.
I unfortunately don't have any info on it but someone on here said it was probably Artemis on the obverse.

Thanks,

Brunus,

It would be most helpful to us if you could identify the weight in grams (assuming you've got a coin scale) and the metal of the coin. Toning and lighting can often disguise the metal, so don't assume we can tell by looking at the picture.

Thanks for keeping me posted & it seems to be around 14 mm
Small dark patina.
Hope that can help a little.

If you expect answers, you need to at least say if it is silver or bronze, you should tell us the weight, and you will need a new reverse photo.

I don't think the photos are not good enough to allow ID.  Don't be surprised if no one else posts.
