Unidentified Roman or Greek provincial coin?
« on: April 23, 2016, 01:42:26 pm »
Hello folks,

Here I've picked up another coin but the seller just told me it was maybe a Roman provincial coin but without a head of an emperor,
But it seems to be the head of Tyche and the diameter & weight; 8,72gr -23mm.
That's all I have about this coin!!!

Bruno,

I think Hierokaisareia, somewhat similar to this coin:

Take care!!

Bruno,

P.S. I decided to share a picture of I in turkey, in the ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis.
