This reverse type is one of the neater ones Vespasian copied from the past and is indeed quite scarce! Bravo Jay!

Marcus Lepidus makes his first appearance on a coin in 61 BC as moneyer.  He would eventually succeed Julius Caesar as Pontifex Maximus and join Antony and Octavian as part of the second Triumvirate.  Rare coin freed from a NGC holder!

Rare coin freed from a CNG holder!

Nice coin, Jay! But don't you mean an NGC holder?  ;D

Added a Galba denarius today.  Thought it was the more common type but it turns out it has a rare short obverse legend.  A bit scratched up but a decent coin!

Purchased a nice little coin today with a decent portrait.  These are usually pretty rough and worn.  Much nicer in hand.
