Can anyone please point me towards some good references for Islamic currency history and denominations please?

Thank you! I really don't have any but would love to get a couple Islamic coins.

There is important Book which can help you a lot for islamic coins:
"A Handbook of ISLAMIC COINS" by Michael Broome-Seaby -London-1st published 1985 and it;s of great help also to read islamic coins..
