Hello Coin friends,

I wanted to share a small variant here.

RIC states on RIC 118. as on RIC 4, so with cornucopiae.

This 2 coin has no cornucopiae Strack 61.
Strack did not see on with cornucopiae, he did state cornucopiae it Strack 3= RIC 4

BMC knows the difference.

BMC 257-259
no cornucopiae

BMC 260
with cornucopiae

Eric, thank you for sharing this new variant! I find it very crafty in terms of artistic execution - it required a big deal of skill to put together Spes, globe and double(!) cornucopiae within such limited space! That is why the other variants of this type could be just simplified versions of this holistic version!

Z,

Thank you,
I didn't look at it this way, but you are very right about it.

Best wishes,

Eric
