Kamboti Greece?
« on: January 29, 2016, 03:33:37 pm »
I read in Hoover's HGC 4 that excavations at the modern "Kamboti" in Greece indicate it is the location of the ancient mint of Torhybeion.  However, I cannot find this "Kamboti" on any map.  Is anyone familiar with it?

Found it- it is north of the Ambracian gulf, which is outside the traditional boundary of Akarnania.  On the map it is Kompoti.
