Hello Joe:  I will cast a vote for Doug Smith.  He deserves to be a perpetual something-or-other if only for the joy he has provided me in "The Coin Show" and "The Coin Show Revisited."  JamesC11 (perpetual non-poster)

I nominated and voted for Alex McCallum (*Alex) , maybe he did not do too much this year last , but over the past years , I believe he helped as much as he can. ( member gallery , best of the type and much more..), and he deserves the honor.
Surely ,  all  nominated members are worthy and over qualified.
Also there are a lot of members who really helped here but they never had , members to nominate them.
Perhaps one day  we will vote on a group of the year.

My best wishes to all nominated members.

This is probably stupid, but how does one vote?  Do I just say I vote for so and so; or what.  Sorry if I missed something somewhere.

Possibly you already voted without recalling it, in which case you'll only see results and not the option to vote.

Like Bill W4, I get no reaction whatever to any of several clickings--nothing appears, bold, results, or whatever.

There are several feature that are not available to new members, to avoid spam. Once you post, you very quickly reach the point where all these options are open to you. I don't know if this is an intentional limitation to stop candidates from recruiting a large number of non FORVM members to register just to vote for them or whether voting in polls is simply one of several things fresh member can't do.

The limitations are I believe simply to avoid spam. I mean how egotistical would you have to be to try to recruit a hoard of new members just so you could win a FORVM poll.  ;D

Actually, that happened with the website awards a few years back, but it wasn't the site owner, who was terribly embarrassed.

Recruiting large numbers of new members to vote for you would actually be a very Roman thing to do.
