I read  on left " Struck in Constantinople 1255 AH "             ( 1255 AH is 1839 AD  so must be Sultan Abdülmecid I )

So with info you provided , it will be    : X Para(s) 1255 AH.

The X =1,  2,..  ( It depends on the weight )
let us see if some member knows.
My info about Ottoman coins is under Zero :).

Added  : I think it is 20 Paras

The size and weight given do not fit on any coin listed for
this Sultan. Nearest is 1 para of .170 silver, but it is 12 mm.

Hi Sam!

Thank you to help me identify these coins.
Because the year on this coin is 1255, it could be a 20 para coin. In that period a 20 para coin had around 1.35-16 grams due to a monetary reform which took place at the beginning of the 19th century. Unfortunately for me I can not read the years from this type of coins and this is the most important part :(.

Thank you again for your help.

Best wishes!

Precisely .. could it be rare ?   ( I see it copper )

Or 1355 ( 1936  not reasonable )  not 1255 , the Arabic 2 and 3 are so close   :

٣ 3

This coin is dated on regnal year 2 and is of style of old standard
used  in regnal years 1 - 5. 20 para copper coin of new standard
is 31 mm and about 15 gr. 20 para of old standard is 20 mm and
about 1.5 gr, and of .170 silver (billon).

So if the size stated in first post is 10 mm, there is something wrong.

Hi again,

Sorry for my short silence but I was left for aprox one hour.

Pekka, I am very sorry for the confusion I had created, because in my first post I mentioned 10 mm diam, but it is 20 mm; I have wrote by mistake 10 mm.
The coin has 20 mm and the weight is 1.26 g; the composition is billion.

Sorry again for the mistake I've done in my first message and thank you all again for your help.

Regards,
alc
