Shallow bowl missing legs
« on: November 03, 2015, 08:30:55 am »
Hi,
Can anyone offer a suggestion as to the identification of this shallow dish, 7 inches in diameter please. On the base are three scars where it looks like three legs were and potentially a fourth leg off set from the centre. It is similar to what are described as Mesopotamian offering bowls from the second millennium BC.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Regards,

Mauseus
