Same coin other pictures, coin was bought in auction inhere, never ever bought a fake one of this seller, anybody can make a mistake.

I dont understand why anybody would fake a coin 20mm from Synnada with a relative low value and not a collectable city.

Not only rare coins are faked, to answer your question ,look at these fake coins. Are they rare ? They are the copies of very common coins.
People in Eastern Europe and other places make copies of every ancient coin in hand. It depends how naieve the buyer is.

It has that soapy, lack of definition between field and type that is common on casts.

It looked like a cast in the first pictures but from the new ones, I think it's genuine.

I think it is more likely genuine than cast, but please do not ask me why I think so. It is actually a very difficult question to answer. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. It could take me many hours of thought to come up with the appropriate thousand words to explain what I see in a glance.
