The portrait is very strong but the alligator arms make it comical.  No reason for posting this other than its a slow Wednesday morning...

I find the "helmet" equally comical. Or is that a crested yarmulke, or did Valentinian have a mohawk?

Hi GJ,

Maybe "T-Rex arms" would be a more appropriate description. :)

Whenever my mother or niece says something that excites most people but not me, I often jokingly act like I have T-Rex arms, wiggle my fingers and/or arms, and say, "Oooooooh!!!" :) ::)

A few years ago, my niece actually started imitating me.

Hi Nick,

Like Charlie Brown. :)

But he's bald. ::)

Very nice coin! Emperor baby arms must have had to fight for respect!  ;)
