2. 1358-71 fB Hungarian Denar under King Louis I,Huszar 542,Unger 429q,Pohl 79-4.

3. 1336/37 Hungarian Denar under King Charles Robert,Huszar 491,Unger 391,Pohl 48.

4.Anonymous Hungarian Denar (1141-62 King Geza II?);Huszar 123,Unger 70,Rethy I-132,CAC vol. II/19.9.1.1/0.1/1. It has no sigla.

5. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (Geza II?);Huszar 152,Unger 72,Rethy I-45,CAC vol. II/20.9.1.1/a1.2/3. It has a sigla of one point just to the left of 12:00.

1. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (1131-41 King Bela II?);Huszar 99,Rethy I-87. It has a sigla of 2 small wedges to the left and right of the cross vertical in each of the upper left and right quadrants. The closest in CAC vol. II is 18.12/b4.2/52 except the 2 wedges on the right are facing the opposite direction.

2.1095-1116 Hungarian Denar under King Coloman (Kalman);Huszar 40,Unger 31,Rethy I-48,CAC vol. I/11.10/b2.1/36. It has a sigla of 2 small wedges under the C in CALMAN just above 3:00.

2. 1517 K-G with the same legend variation as the previous one.

3.1445/46 W-I,Interregnum II;Huszar 613,Unger 480h,Pohl 173-8.

4.Anonymous Hungarian Denar (King Stephen III,1162-72?);Huszar 117a,Unger82,Rethy I-129,CAC vol. II/19.7.1.1/b1.26/77. It has a sigla of one small wedge in the lower right quadrant below intersection of large cross.

5. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (King Geza II,1141-62?);Huszar 152,Unger 72,Rethy I-145,CAC vol. II/20.9.1.1/a1.17/18. It has a sigla of one small point upper right quadrant below and left of larger point.

7.1095-1116 Hungarian Denar under King Coloman;Huszar 35,Unger 26,Rethy I-43,Cac vol. I/11.6/a1b1.1/61. It has a sigla of one point and one wedge in the upper right quadrant of inner circle.

1. 1440/41 G-B Hungarian Denar (billon) under King Wladislaus I;Huszar 598,Unger 469f,Pohl 135-6.


2. 1358-71 Lily/point Hungarian Denar under King Louis I;Huszar 542,Unger 429v var.,Pohl 79-6 var. I don't see this mint mark listed in the main catalogues.


3. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (King Geza II,1141-62?);Huszar 159,Unger 60,Rethy I-49,CAC vol. II/20.13.1.1/a2.4/18. It has a sigla of two points straddling 3:00.


4.Contemporary counterfeit (silvered copper?) resembling the previous coin.


5.1095-1116 Hungarian Denar under King Coloman;Huszar 39,Unger 32,Rethy I-47,CAC vol. I/11.9/a1.2/3. It has a sigla of one point at about 1:00.

1. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (King Geza II,1141-62?);variation of Huszar 139,Unger 65,CAC vol. II/20.2.2.1/a1.7/8. It has a sigla of one point between 2:00 and 3:00 between two vertical lines.

2. Anonymous Hungarian Denar (King Stephen III,1162-72?);Huszar 118,Rethy I-131;CAC vol. II/19.8.1.1/b3.1/38. It has a sigla of three small wedges in upper left quadrant near the intersection of the two cross lines.

3.1329 Hungarian Parvus under King Charles Robert;Huszar 471,Unger 372,Pohl 38. This is the only non -denar I have,but added it because it is one of the few nedieval Hungarian coins with the Holy Lamb and flag.


4. 1385 G-m Hungarian Denar under Queen Maria;Huszar 569,Unger 443d,Pohl 114-4. It has a legen variation of REInA VnGARIE on obverse and MOnETA MARIA on reverse.


5. 1469 K-shield Hungarian Denar under Matthias Corvinus;Huszar 717,Unger 562i,Pohl 216-9. It has a legend variation of PATROn on reverse.
