Would like to identify the person on this coin?
« on: July 04, 2015, 04:24:31 am »
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to identify the person on this coin and possibly date the coin as well. it is 25mm in diameter and is bronze. It was found in Northern England in the Richmond area and possibly near Hadrian's Wall. I would have guessed it to be Roman but the nose on this person does not look Roman at all.

Any insights would be much appreciated.
Brad.

Maximianus. Any PAS authority can give you exact details.

Thanks for the information. It enabled me to understand what I was meant to be looking for and the answer was quite obvious in hindsight.
Cheers,
Brad
