Very rare and beautiful Domitian eagle denarius

Hello everyone.

Today, back home from my holiday, I've received this lovely denarius.

RIC lists only three issues with the "eagle on thunderbolt" reverse for Domitian denarii:

RIC 144 (R) scarce but not really rare (year 82-83) one also in my gallery, RIC 196 (R2) (year 84) and finally this RIC 270 (R2) (year 85).

Only another example is available online, a coin sold a few years back by Forum and, previously, by Freeman & Sear (http://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=386056).

I think that my coin could be a reverse die-match with that coin, while the obverse is from a different die.

That's a really great coin, Alberto! I have never seen this type before, it must be pretty rare. A very attractive and interesting addition!
