Now online: Egger Sale 1914: Prowe Collection III

The digital library of Heidelberg University, Germany only has the first two parts of the Theodore Prowe collection sales (Brüder Egger 1904 and 1912) but the largest sale of Prowe's Greek coins were in the May 1914 sale, which Digi Heidelberg didn't have (although they have LOADS of useful old catalogs). Google books do not show the full version of the 1914 sale either, even though it was never even under copyright anywhere.

Anyway, I just uploaded Prowe Part III (Brüder Egger 1914) to archive.org

2,800 coins on 178 pages including 43 quite nice plates.

Dane,

I have never found Prowe I (1904) online even at the Heidelberg site. They have Prowe II (1912). Did I miss something??

So, I did manage to find Prowe I via Google, Hathi Trust has it but only 1 page at a time download - but since it was a google scan I managed to find it on Google! duh!!

You're lucky you can download it from google - Europeans and other non US-users are
still blocked from downloading it. Blasted arrogance and ignorance if you ask me...
