Antoninus pius Denarius

This silver denarius is in an auction and described as Antoninus Pius I find the style weird any references please?

Not Antoninus Pius, but Caracalla. Caracalla's real name was Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus.

It is a cast fake however.

Thought about suggesting that, too. However it is not that easy to spot on such fotos taken with a flash(?).

It is hard to tell from a picture as aleays but when i suspected it was because of the general style and shape of bust comparing it to the same original ones and the some what pourous surfaces , but again though all suspect it might be original and the lighting was too strong as vale suggested.

It most certainly is not original, because it is the same type of cast fake reported in the fake reports. The style however is seems ok, since it is a cast of a real ancient coin. What gives it away are the blurry details and the surfaces/edges.
