Lucius Verus

Recently I got a Lucius Verus denarius with TR P VI IMP IIII COS II with Pax.
I noticed a mistake in legend and the fact that it's made from low purity silver, which is not common for official mint of that time (correct me if I wrong).

What do you think:
Is it a defected coin of official mint?
Ancient fake?
Or rather good barbaric imitation? (it was found on territory outside of Roman Empire, where imitations are quite common).

The weight is 2.6 g.

Thank you!

To me it looks like a cast replica, whether ancient or modern I cannot say.
