Danubian tetradrachm?
« on: December 23, 2013, 07:14:33 am »
I have this celtic (danubian?) tetradrachm imitating Alexander III or Filip III tetradrachm's.
I do not own (celtic) reference works so I'd need more information about this coin.

Diam. 28 mm; 12.4 g.

Wow. Those two coins are as identical as you get them. It seems almost the exact same coin in two different pictures with light coming from different angles. I would love to get a word from an experienced collector on this - it seems really suspicious.

A hoard of these came on the market recently.
