Dear Pekka, Sorry but I am a little bit confused now, it is not a Vespasian coin? It is a Domitian??? The obverse is Vespasian and the reverse is a Domitian Hybrid???

Thanks Pekka so it is not a (Mule) because it is not from an official mint, but how rare is this coin?

Your coin is a modern cast forgery, unfortunately.

For better judgement ,could we have a clearer pic?. Looks to me as a cast and I have seen similar " mules " in illustrious  fake-seller Sadigh Gallery.

Another mule  with Domitian reverse.

I have just read an article on www.academia.edu about these coins explaining that these coins were minted by Vespasian:

Thanks. I could only read what appears after clicking on your link . It does mention that Vespasian minted coins with she-wolf and twins but it does not specify more.I´ll try to get further.

The coin was certainly struck by Vespasian in 77-78 A.D., but in the name of Domitian only.

I'm sorry to say that, but in my opinion your coin is an obvious modern fake.

Kind regards

Alberto
