Hi :)

This is the link to my "Christian symbols on Roman coins" gallery:

https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=5762

It is a little collection without very rare and beautiful coins, but for me it is an interesting theme.

Matteo.

Thanks Quadrans :) It was a good purchase: I have bought it from a professional seller (in Italy it is important to buy from professional sellers) for 15€, shipping included.

I'm happy to have added this new coin to my collection of Christian symbol :) Probably the cross in this coin is a simple cross used as a symbol mark, but someone thinks it could be a Christian symbol (not me :) ).
It is a coin of Licinius I, R4 or R5 for the RIC. It is the first I have seen.

RIC VII Ticinum 46 (R4-R5)
316
D/ IMP LICINIVS PF AVG, laureate head right.
R/ SOLI INVI-C-TO COMITI, Sol standing left raising right hand, globe in left, chlamys across left shoulder; Greek cross in left field; star in right field; in exergue PT, PS or PP.
RIC VII Ticinum 46 (R4-R5)

Hi!

It has been a long time since I've post a coin...This is my last acquisition, but for the first time it's not an ancient coin:

Dutch India - Pulicat, 1 Cash (since) 1646: https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=34287&pos=0

I have added my first Achaemenid siglos! I think it is a good coin (for my standard...): what do you think?
