What you think about this?
-
The reverse is so completely wrong in so many ways. The coin is concerning on the highest of levels.
-
Looks like a modern cast, wrong style and fabric. I don't even think i've ever seen that type of portrait on any ptolemaic silver.
What is it being sold as?
-
Fake

I'm too. If it is not fantasy, a portrait seems like Nikomedes of Bithynia, or not?
What is it being sold as?
"Guaranteed genuine tetradrachm of Ptolemy II" ;D
P.S. This seller looks like candidate for Black list, take a look at his other listings:

I really love his Syrakuse dekadrachm

Fake coin report please (for his other fakes too). The seller is going on the notorious list.
-
I would have thought he's already on there, he is very notorious on the German forum.
Not the slightest doubt he belongs on the list.
