Copper alloy; 15mm/1.5gm

Shield-shaped with bent attachment pins.

Era and use, anyone?

If found in the UK I would be certain that they are medieval horse harness decorations.

I assume they are from the Balkans?  Quite possibly the same thing, I just can't be certain as my source is the Museum of London book on medieval horse gear.
