Good morning to all, a Spanish friend has asked me for information about this coin and sincerely surpasses me, although it is a simple commemorative coin of the VRBS ROMA type with the wolf and the twins, of the 1st. Officinae de Trier, had never seen her struck in silver, measures 19 mm and weighs 2.83 gr.
I beg your help with the information you can give me.
Thank you
Mario

Modern plating?

Thank you very much @djmacdo
Sorry, no more opinions?

Modern plating?
I think that is a possibility too
-
Thanks for your opinion.
Do you think there is any possibility that silver is original and not modern?
Regards

It is hard to be certain from a photo, but it appears to be too heavy/thick for original "silvering."
-
Can the silvering be seen on the insides of the edge cracks?

Hi Joe, I have a little filming of the piece that your owner sent me, is there any way to upload it to the post?

Hi Callimachus
The owner tells me that inside the cracks it looks dark when you look at them with a magnifying glass. It doesn't look like silver.

I think it has been done, but I don't know how, and I doubt it will be helpful.

Maybe it's because I haven't seen one silvered let alone looking as silver as this example, it's quite impressive.
