Title: Unknown Gold Greek 16 mm, head of Athena?
Post by: Brice D on August 13, 2019, 04:51:35 pm
Hi,

I have bought this coin on [Removed by Admin] and I could not identify it, can you help me?

Weight: 3.49 g
Diameter: 15.90 mm

The inscriptions seems to be written in Greek. The metal seems to be gold.
I'm very sorry but I don't know more.

Thank you in advance for your precious help,

Brice

That is a crude modern forgery of an Indo-Greek silver drachm of Menander.  You can see the outline of the original coin from which this cast was made.
