Title: Very thin, Copper Crusader Coin, Uncertain Design
Post by: v-drome on July 22, 2019, 10:41:08 pm
Hi all.  I noticed that some of our members have been posting some rare copper Crusader coins and I am wondering if anyone has seen one like this.  This was a surface find from Caesarea Maritima, so it could be from almost anywhere.  Any ideas would be most appreciated!  (I am not even certain which axis is correct, but I saw a coin described as a church with "cupola", though nothing just like this one.  Thanks, V-drome

Maybe, Pfennig, Vienna mint, but contemporary imitation...

Thank you, Joe.  Definitely not my prettiest coin!
