By the shape, your ring is Roman, Guiraud Type 1 = 1st Cent BC - 1st Cent AD
The intaglio is...well, uh, um, extraordinary, to say the least. :evil:
Perhaps no one (or everyone) noticed the similarity found on Spintrae type #VI sans the jug of wine and the little helper person?
In this case, the prostituo is wearing a lion mask? Just sayin'.
Pretty sure I'm correct per the ring type; the rest is purely conjecture on my part.
