Title: Provenance help Boehringer 117

Hello Forum members in Boehringer book on the coins from Syracuse 117 obv53/rev 42 he lists seven coins number four is the exact weight as this coin from Edward Newell,Its not from the ANS duplicates.Any help would be greatly  appreciated.

here is B117 R42 from the number 4 of the catalogue. Not the same coin unfortunately...

You have the Boehringer catalogue but not the volume of the plates ? it's better to have it in order to proceed the  'Quellenforschung'  ;D

This  is the number one coin in the British museum?not the number fourth coin.

No, the coin illustrating the reverse R42 is the 4th coin of the entry #117 of the catalogue (Newell collection). Have a look to the text.

Yes Sir you are correct,I just found it in the index Newell, you cant win them all.
